boost question....any input appreciated....

i have a 00 Si running basically a T3/T04E turbo .63ar....my question is when is the boost suppose to kick in....cause on mine i dont feel anything till about 5200rpm.....any input would be greatly appreciated

are you running the stock cat? if so that kills the time it takes for the turbo to spool.

My friend had a T3/T04E Turbonetics with a .63 A/R and he reached full boost at 5200 RPM - 5300 RPM I think. He is using a Turbonetics T3/T04E with a .48 A/R and now reaches full boost at 4800 RPM - 4900.
