Dynoed my car today. Im happy with the results. I am supposed to be boosting 14.7lbs but the boost would immediately taper off to 13lbs. Not sure why, maybe because I am running 2.5inch from the turbo back.

My car looks pretty much stock, so i dont really get messed with.

I have the drf file and I downloaded the viewer from dynoject and thats all that comes up.

Ahh! I love it, your car looks exactly like mine (I have a white 00 DB8) I'm just starting to buy my parts for going turbo, getting ready to purchase my turbo in a week or two. You just gave me more inspiration to get going. I am going to keep the stock blades as well, and I am definitely going to paint the intercooler black, and have a vibrant black muffler, to keep the stock sleeper look. Nice job on your car and thanks for posting this, it makes me want to finish my project more then anything.

Just curious, what intercooler are you running that allows you to keep the grill in the bumper?

In order to fit the FMIC I had to shave a lot of the grill off on the backside. I also had to cut off part of the bumper reinforcement to fit because the height was pretty big.

I thought I seen it on the site before, but its no longer there. Contact project dc2 for the exact specs.

correction its the type 1

p.s ive fit a 4 inch core and still kept most of the stock grill .. you need to shave and fit it

Like what reinforcement did you had to cut off. I think I might go with this one instead of the precision 350hp intercooler.

I just need to know what has to be cut on the reineforcement to make it fit right. If its major then ill stick with the precison.

nice your dyno looks a lot like my first db8 setup with a gt28r. i had 9.8:1 pistons though with the same bore and 3 inch piping back to exhaust...so i made 200ish wtq and 250wtq at 11lbs.

real similar powerband...except mine was shifted a lil more to the left (full wtq at 4k, started to run out of breath around 7.5k). it was a blast on the streets...super responsive too. i bet yours is even more fun to drive as you have a much stronger top end but a solid midrange...

i been debating between a disco potato and a gt2871r when it's time to upgrade. might have to go with the gt2871r for real...

nice setup!! im not sure of the specs on that turbo but the numbers seem a touch low for 13-14lbs of boost.. are you doing the runs with the air filter on? How conservative of tune?

very clean and well put together though and 300whp is a blast to drive
