Check Engine Light Disables Vtec Right?
if your check engine lights comes on will your computer keep the vtec from kicking in? and does it matter what kind of check engine light it is? a
Yes it matters. If you are throwing a CEL for a fuel tank pressure sensor, then it won't affect VTEC. If you're throwing a code for VSS, then yes, it will affect it.
ok here is the deal i swapped a mini me onto my hatch but i could not find a manual p28 ecu so i have an automatic right now so the CEL is throwing a code for the auto tranny. could that code interfere with my vtec?
