Default 1 psi loss by red line ok?

just installed my tial WG with 1 bar (14.5 psi) spring. removed boost controller to run off the spring and in my data logs i achieve 201.20 kpa (14.67 psi) and taper off to 193.50 kpa (13.55 psi) by red line 7000 rpms

my boost pressure source is my intake manifold not the turbo compressor housing.

does this seem normal? does anyone else experience this as well?

It depends on waste gate /manifold design and intercooler.I'd say if your with in a pound or two your doing pretty good.I have it the other way, more boost at higher rpm.
