simply your trans is fked.. you need to replace the gear.. beating on your honda has a tendency to cause 3rd to mess up first.. its kinda common actually
i had a bad 3rd and 4th grind and then when i had a new clutch put in, the shop owner changed the tranny oil and its only grided once since, tranny's a 92 cable ls with a turbo jdm gsr. runs good now. try changin the oil with somethin good.

It wasn't eliminated. It was covered. Changing fluids are band aid repairs at best. You will have to check to see if your synchro, sleeve, or gear have been damaged.
I can not comment on cost as I do my own work. The parts are not expensive.

Don't be a moron. The gears are fine.
The synchro for 3rd gear is worn out and is not able to do it's job.
You should have the trans rebuilt so that you don't mess up the dog teeth on the gears.
Contact gear-speed, they do good work.
