Default tuning low compression

setup:

-75mm vitara pistons (8.5:1 in d16z6)
-tuner toys rods w/ arp bolts
-arp headstuds
-fresh gaskets, seals, etc.

turbo:
t3 .48/60
450cc dsm black tops
plxm300 wideband
bkr7e plugs
homemade manifold

i guess thats all that matters, so now on to the questions...

Im tuning it at the moment, and i was wondering how many degrees do you pro tuners advance the timing in the vac portion to pick the power back up due to the lower compression??? what kind of buffer zone does this lower compression give me, as far as preventing detonation i mean??? say im at 15psi im at 20.50 degrees total timing, and at 20 psi im at 16 degrees, does that sound like a lot for a 75mm bore 8.5:1 motor??? i know i should be tuning timing on a dyno, but i just dont have access to one around here for a while, so im trying to get it safe without being too safe, if that means anything to you...

the afr is pretty solid at 11.5:1, now im just trying toget my timing right...

right now im at 19psi and 16 degrees and the plugs are showing up with a TAD bit of white specs on the porcelin, no cracked anything YET, any clues, hints, help, advice, would be sweet...

thanks
