L-brackets and self tap screws are the best way to go

I would use nuts and bolts instead of self tappers.

how do you know exactly howto center it? doesn't it have to be perfectly measured so that the intake side and exhaust side pipes all match up evenly?

here u go hope it helps, Do it right the first time around, Zip ties may work, but wont last to long.

Used a jack to move it into place

bent a piece of steel drilled it and bolted it to the rebar+ IC

Used to sell tapping screws on the bottom.

i tack welded two tabs with a pre-drilled hole on the bumper support. 1st center the intercooler under the bumper support then mark the two ends of the intercooler, then make some brackets out of some tagboard then out of steel, drill out where the tapped holes are on the ic and there you have. ill take some pics this weekend
