Default Boost holds, but progressively drops with each gear?

Any ideas what would cause boost to drop with each gear? I get 9.5 or so in first when it breaks free, 7 in second, and 5.5 in 3rd and 4th. Straight from the datalogs so I know its accurate. Greddy 19T turbo, blitz dual SBC (old style) boost controller.

Default Re: Boost holds, but progressively drops with each gear? (moops vs moors)

I think an external gate, although a pain in the *** to weld the internal gate's flapper shut and mount the external, would solve this problem.

Internal gate seems to be the culprit, it opens too soon in the higher gears.

Have you tried messing with the gain function on the SBC?

EDIT: what size exhaust, and what size IC pipes are you using?</TD></TR></TABLE>

I have messed with gain, but that leads to overboosting

I believe the charge pipes are 2.25". The DP is a custom 2.5" and exhaust is full 2.5" with a high flow 2.5" cat and a "turbo" style muffler.
