Default Is it ok to plug/loop these holes up?

My setup is a B18C1 block with B16A head. The part where the oil filter would thread on, there are these 2 holes sticking out but there are not any lines for these 2 holes to go to. I know they're for the oil cooler or w/e on a stock GSR, but would it be ok to loop from one to the other? #11

There's also a hole right next to this on the block itself (not pictured). Not sure what its for. Could I just plug it up?

the link i provided above has the piece you need to loop it through to get coolant for the oil cooler. item #9. without it i don't think you can loop it anywhere else.

right, he is saying he does not have that kind of water pipe (hah waterpipe!!) and wants to know if he can just put a hose on one side and loop it to the other.

Yes you can but then the oil cooler will not be working.

I looped mine for the same reason, but I do have an external oil cooler, although its not necessary.

I think some of you guys are not thinking of the same thing as me. I'm not talking about looping the water pipe or anything.

This is what I want to do. Loop a hose from one to another like the red line in this pic. Will that be ok/safe?

YES AT LEAST I UNDERSTAND!

Like I said, I did it, its fine. You just won't have the benefit of the OEM oil cooler effects (it doesn't do much anyway)

No need to even loop it if its not connected to the water pipe, Just leave it open.
