Odd surging problem while under partial throttle
93 CX idles fine, but when you give it the slightest amount of throttle, it starts surging like a 2 step or launch control! Between 1 and 2k rpm
Its very annoying on the highway when youre cruising under very little load and it starts making the car jump.
it did it with the stock motor and ECU, then did it with a turbo d series...and STILL does it with a fully built B series turbo setup. Differenct ECU, different everything! what could it be?

Well it sounds like ur throwing a 10 code, which is IAT sensor..that can cause a surging idle as well, might wanna change that and see where you're at. Or post a video of the CEL blinking to verify with other H/T members that it's a 10 code.
Turn the key on with the paperclip in and I get:
