Default Boost gauge crapped out?

Hey guys, I've got an Autometer Vacuum/Boost gauge on my Accord. I hooked it about a week ago and it registered fine. Zero at off, 20ish vacuum at idle, I haven't hit full boost because of piping issues so I'm not sure if that's registering correctly.

Anyway, now when the vehicle is off it's "pulling" 10 on the vacuum side and around 30 on the vacuum side at idle. Is my Autometer Sport Comp gauge done for even though it's new?

If so, what's the most cost efficient boost gauge?

there are alot of people on here who like them and havent had any problems. I run Defi gauges and I love them. But I know that most people dont want to spend that kind of money on gauges.
