Default ok to only get a boost gauge instead of boost/vac

im gonna purchase a set of autometer c2 electrical gauges (boost, egt, oil pressure) and i was wondering if its ok to get the 0-30 psi boost gauge istead of getting the vac/boost gauge...i like the uniform look where the needles all start at the same angle...thanks!

sure why not...

only difference is you just wont see a low vacume or high vacume reading to indicate any problems...

When my ringlands went out, my vacume changed a little....

but your probably safe in doing just the positive side... (boost)

ya there are a a couple diagnostic procedures you can do with the vacuum readings. they are described in the chiltons (yuck) manual from autozone. definitely get the vacuum gauge.
