racing a turbo car vs a n/a car
i was wondering if anybody in here races a turbo b-series at track events like hpde and if so how did it perform compared to a n/a setup. also for the n/a guys what kind of setups are you guys runing and what kind of hp and torque figures are you runing. the resaon im asking is im trying to decide if i should build a turbo b-series or a n/a bseries for a few track events and auto-xing events. thanx for your help
I race with a turbo. When it's not on fire, broken down, running like crap, overheating or spewing oil all over the place, it's a blast.

Turbo Hondas are fun, but expensive, and it's going to take some time to work the bugs out of it. Once you get it right, though, you'll giggle like a school girl when you pass Corvettes and such in a little Honduh. However, if you're just starting to learn to drive competitively, it's going to encourage you to develop bad habits... you would be more effective if you learned to make the most of a slower car, and then moved up to something faster.
