hey guys, so im going to put some ctr pistons into a gsr block, the guy at the machine shop said he needs the spes sheet for the pistons before he can do anything. anybody have these, or no where i could get it? thanks

#1,2,4,5:
.0009 - .0017

Rod bearing:
.0013 - .0020

Piston ring crap:
Ring to piston groove :
TOP: .0018 - .0028
SEC: . 0016 - .0026

Ring end gap :
TOP: .008 - .014
SEC: .016 - .022
OIL: .008 - .020

 

what does he need the spec sheet for. it's a simple process. you press the old ones off and new ones on. now if you say he's also putting the motor together then it'll be a diffrent story. just make sure the cylinders are still good for the pistons after the hone. (clearance wise).

 

thanks for the replys. the block was honed not too long ago, but the owner ended up parting out. so its a gsr bored 2 over and sleeved back to 1.8. i just need the machine shop to make sure the psitons will fit right then i can put on the rods and so forth
