Default Can anyone tell me if this JRSC sounds right at idle? Link to video provided

http://fuckthemtrojans.bol.ucla.edu/

So I just installed this JRSC that I bought used off of a fellow Honda-Tech user. I'm using the 6lb kit on my GSR and the only mod I have at this point are ITR cams. The first video is the car just at idle. In the second video, I'm blipping the throttle slightly.

So, is this whine normal? I know it's supposed to whine and it definitely does when I take it out for a spin and gun it. Howevfer, it seems like a bit too loud when I'm just sitting at idle.

I've checked for vacuum leaks in case that was the problem and everything seems alright in that catergory.

I hope someone can tell me that this is completely normal for the JRSC

I forgot to mention that I used an automotive stethoscope and the noise is definitely coming from the blower and now the pulleys or belts. I've also adjusted the supercharger belt tension from completely loose to quite tight so it seems the belt tension isn't affecting the noise at all.

thanks

I've also discovered that the idle noise doesn't occur until the car is warmed up after a couple of minutes. So when the engine is cold everything sounds completely stock...

Hope someone can give me a better clue as to what's going on.

Thanks

I haven't heard the video but my buddies JRSC setup sounds like a stock motor at idle.

<---watched the vid, used to have a jrsc.

That whine noise is not normal...almost sounds like the belt is way to tight. How much play is there on the pulley and shaft? wonder if the nose cone bearings are getting ready to go...
