how do i install an autometer electric oil gauge...d16z6 civic..anyone have a wright up

well its pretty easy the instructions that come with it are all u mostly need but you use the spot for the stock oil pressure sender or get the adapter for your oil filter but i used the oe sending unit spot and got a steel braided brake line from napa for 12 bucks and they have all the different connectors there that are like $1 a piece. You mount the oil pressure sending unit on the firewall somewhere and run the steel braided line to it.Instead of buying the steel braided lines off line for 40-60 bucks. I also left the stock oil sender unpluged cuz you really dont need it if you have a oil pressure gauge.
