wastegate vacuum?

Default wastegate vacuum?

Hey guys i am installing my first turbo setup on my car and i have a quick question... it has an external wastegate setup and there are two threaded holes on the wastegate... one on the side and one on top... my buddy had a vacuum line connected to the side of his wastegate and a screw on the top but mine didnt come with a screw for the top... what do i need to do? thanks a lot

hook the one on the side up to a source of manifold vacuum, or the snail as i like to do, and leave the top open.

ok right now i have the sid hooked up to the compressor housing... and if i want a mbc i just put it inline somewhere between them correct? what is the top port for? thanks for all the help

The top port is for using an electronic boost controler. If you use a manual, you just install it inline between your pressure source and your side wastegate port just like you said.
