Tial 35mm wastegate vacuum question, FASTER SPOOL ?
i am aware that the one on the side goes to the MBC which is connected to the Turbo compressor housing but I think if the other port is connected it will help the Turbo spool faster. I believe if I use the top port it will keep the wastegate closed until it reaches the desired boost that was set on the MBC. thus, by keeping the wastegate closed it will spool MUCH faster.
my question is, where do I connect the top port OR is there another method of setting up the vacuum lines.
If you have any info, web-sites or diagrams please post them. Please, give me facts and not what a friend of a friend did on his set-up.
thanx

yes i have used a MBC with the top port and it is awsome
becouse you can mount the MBC inside the car and adjest to where you want like a electroic one but with less money
it takes about 20-30 feet of 1/4 fuel line and some zip ties but it works mint

....HOW?
I don't think that's possible, for you'd need to cut off the boost signal when the desired boost was reached to allow teh gate to open, which a MBC can't do!

ok check it out the side port doesnt get cut off like how it always was done
it is taped and goes to one side of the mbc then the other side (outlet) goes to the top of the port on the WG
and say you have a 7 psi spring you put 3 psi on top of the wg in the top port and Bammm you got 10 psi
it worked the best for me and i had the mbc inside the car so i can control it without messing under the hood
always think creative you should has seen the 350Z we did with spray with no strainer valve and not cutting any lines for fuel and it was a wet kit
