My friend has a civic. Somehow he managed to break three out of four wheel studs. When we take the rotor and caliper off but were having trouble getting the old studs out.
My question is: Does any one have online directions showing how to change wheel studs on a Honda, specifically a 2000 civic.

 

Press the old studs out of the hub and press in new ones.

 

(Please under stand I'm a novice)
There is some kind of metal piece behind the rotor that is preventing the studs form coming out. my friend has referred to it as a "hub".

my friend says "you cannot remove the studs becuase there is steel behind them

hit them with a hammer, they'll back them selves right out. btw, ever heard of the tech forum? hwo the hell is this ITR related?

 

I'll admit the tech forum does sounds a little better of an idea. Although, there is a lot of knowledge on this forum and this is were I visit on a daily basses, so I thought I would post here. BTW, thanks for the help, all they need was a good hit . Thanks again.
