Default Alignment

Just got a new set of Falken Azenis and I was wondering where the best place to get an alignment is. Thanks Guys!

Since your in Redondo beach, give Johnsons Alignment a try. They're over in Torrance. I've been there a couple of times and they provide excellent service.

Go to West End Alignment in Gardena and talk to Darin. He also does corner weighting for adj coilovers.

If you go there, try it on a weekday. Much less people than on the weekend.

Please don't laugh at my lack of knoledge... does the Type R have 2 wheel or 4 wheel alignment? I just got new tires, and I need an to get an alignment done. My car is not lowered, or have any other suspension mods at all. So I go to the tire place I go to and say I want the MAX tow OUT (but within spec) for the front and 0 Tow in the rear???

Thanks a lot,
-Neeraj.

no laughing here, that's what this board is for

has 4 wheel alignment.
if this is just a street driven car, then go w/ the factory recommended toe settings.
if you autox or do open track type events, then max toe out in front and zero toe in the rear works great

yshi - who uses the latter setting

Yoshi, would you care to comment on what you consider "max in-spec front toe out"?

I've had mine set at 1/16" front toe out (evenly split), and zero rear. Ed

ED - that should be the max toe-out within spec , 1/16th on each side

I was under the impression Ben told me 1/16 total! (evenly split)

Unless I'm mistaken stock R spec is something like 0 degrees front toe.

I've had mine set at 1/16" front toe out (evenly split), and zero rear. Ed
Was this before or after you met Oscar?
George, since last June (hence, before).

does having the MAX toe to spec wear the tires faster? I do auto cross and try to get to 2-3 track days per year.... so I would like the extra advantage, but not if it wears the tires a lot more...

thaks
