Default Missing Link on an LS Turbo

hey guys,

i have a recently acquired ls turbo, it doesnt have a missing link on the map sensor, but its got some tubing for vacumn near it, that im assuming is doing the same job, because the check engine light hasnt gone off. if that ol style stuff is working, is it worth it to buy a missing link and put it on...are there other benefits?

thanks,
yoda

that little nipple by it is pointless. have you been boosting the car?? what ECU is in the car? the stock virgin honda ECU's will throw a CEL when it sees boost. not at idle or under vaccuum. if its a chiped ECU then it wont throw a CEL reguardless, whcih is the reason for the socketing/chipping. basically if its a stock ECU you need a missing link, or some check valves ( but i recomend the missing link )

Dont touch anything. Your ECU is reflashed and it needs to see boost to properly function.
