Missing link on a LS Turbo
hey guys,
i have a recently acquired ls turbo, it doesnt have a missing link on the map sensor, but its got some tubing for vacumn near it, that im assuming is doing the same job, because the check engine light hasnt gone off. if that ol style stuff is working, is it worth it to buy a missing link and put it on...are there other benefits? My friend thinks its good to do it the right way....just wondering if it does anything else...
thanks,
yoda

Re: Missing link on a LS Turbo (yodas-gsr)
Well I think you have it done the right way. A missing link is used only for FMU setups. You prolly have a tuned chipped ECU which is a LOT better. Stick with what you have, a missing link will actually destroy your engine right now.
