well the p73 head (type r) is a better overall package; afait more expensive.
But if you had to pick between the pr3 and p72 head go with the p72(gsr)

If $$$ is an issue, go with b16a head, p30 pistons in your bottom end ( don't forget arp rod bolts)and get CTR cams....you will be able to keep stock b16a valvtrain!
( if you don't mind sending the engine off to a good machine shop, get +0.25 ctr pistons and a port n polish...your ctr cams will like that)

IMO the gsr head is better for lsvtec i hear because the compressions on the itr is to much and more likely to blow your motor. Either way sooner or later your motors going to blow and lsvtec is not such a good idea unless you have another motor waiting to be put in. with out a doubt tho if you have money lsvtec is pretty crazy and something fun to do
