Sup all,
Could anyone tell me the advantages and disadvantages to putting a CTR head on a B16A engine or should i just build the B16A head instead. And also how much would a CTR head run for and the availability?
Thanx

you should just build the b16a head and build it better.then the CTR head like over sized valve .5mm and better port and ploish and bigger cams and better valve springs and titanium retaners.thats what i would do because if you buy the ctr head you are going to want more power and guess what you have already spent over 1000 dollars on the ctr head and you are going to spend more if you want more power so just build what you have.

CTR Head = B16 Head with mild port job, plain and simple. Honda just does a minor port job on a B16 head, that's it. (as far as the main casting itself - valvetrain parts are different)
