Default ABS Light

I hit a curb doing like 5 today and got stuck on the icey part. it took about 5 min of back and forth burnouts to get free. Now my abs doesnt function and the light is on. Any reason this would happen. it wasnt on after the curb. only after the attempts to get unstuck.

check the sensor and its wires, and make sure that your abs ring on the axle isnt messed up or anything....

then reset the car, take the negative off the battery....if it comes back after the reset, something's shitted upon you

Also could be a sevier coincidence that the relay went out.....just a thought.

Well maybe your relay is almost dead..............

I know this happened with my lighting relay(headlights) - sometimes it would go in and out.........sometimes, it would never come on - then it eventually went out completely. Changed that relay and haven't had a problem since...........

Also - switch your headlight relay with the ABS relay and see if it stays off - they're the same relay so don't worry.

Beleive it or not but my ABS light came on after a hard *** thump (brake hard/jumped a pod hole, car went from 15-0 in no time). Turned out my abs sensor was just on the fritz for a bit, light stayed one for 2 days the nwent away. Came back on again when the brake fluid level became low, quick topup and it was ok.
