code 22 is for the pressure switch. does the CEL come on when you start the car or when you get in VTEC rpm range?

cel pops on at 180 or 190 km/h ( kind a 120 miles )

on 1 and 2 gear runs ok i can say but on 3 ,4 ,5 it kicks in and out ...almost no vtec

sometimes does not work properly neither on 1 and second gear ..how does it wants

it can be the pressure switch bad and the vtec still working a little ? or if it's bad there is absolute no vtec ?

Its probably not the wiring but you should check that anyway. Is this a swapped car? I cant tell what you said, is VTEC coming on at all or only sometimes? How is your oil level? Just do a search for VTEC troubleshooting and I'm sure you can find your answer.

Have you checked the oil with the car on level ground?

I don't think I've ever seen a car throw that code with the correct amount of oil in it.

YES i have a lot of oil

i did a lot of searchings trust me , didn'y fiind what i want

so my vtec works but not how it should , it kicks in and out at high speeds especially in 3 , 4 and 5 gear , and at 120 miles check engine pops on

it is possible that the oil pressure switch is working but not how it should ?

i changed the switch with a new one still a shitty vtec

nobody can fix my car here in Romania

on lower speeds vtec works ok but after 3rd , 4th ,5th gear it kick in and out ( needs more oil pressure maybe ? )

it's possible that its something bad in the engine causing low oil pressure ?

my oil light stays on just a few seconds in the morinng when i start my cat but then it dissapears - so pressure it's ok ?

solenoid seems clean , screen its ok too

at about 110 miles ( sometimes lower ) check engine pops on and it's code 22 ( oil pressure switch )

i saw that when my oil it's new changed works little better , so it's something related with oil pressure

maybe its something clogged ? in the oil pan ? but if it was clogged then my oil light will stayed on right ?

help please

he has the same problem : https://honda-tech.com/zero...80792

Last time I had this problem I found the individual who sold me the motor had glued the green connector back to the housing... obviously I fixed the connection by replacing it as well as the top solenoid with the one wire grey connector. Problem was solved.

Has anyone heard of this problem being caused by the JDM ecu and not requiring a vtec press switch? I have heard that several JDM systems only run the single wire vtec solenoid and no press switch. Im leaning toward believing this since my JDM engine did not come with one I tapped it and added one but still having same issue startin in 3rd at 8000rpm except my comp just goes into limp mode till I flip the key
