Default Code 22 (searched)

My eg with a d16z6 is throwing a code 22. I have searched and found what it might be but I haven't found anything on how to fix it. I just want to know what sensor is causing this and can I try to clean it. I know it is a v-tec issue but I don't know if it the solenoid or if its a switch. If someone could help me out it would be greatly apreciated. Thanks

I just tried cleaning it and that didn't work either. And I also forgot to mention that everything seemed fine after the swap, the v-tec was and is still working and there were no CEL's.

Is this the oil pressure sending unit you are talking about? If so I have an extra one at home I will try it.

not the oil pressure switch in the back of the block, its the vtec pressure switch, it should be near the vtec solonoid, also remove the vtec solonoid housing and make sure the screen isn't stopped up, i think that if your oil level was low it will also set the code
