Boost level will not go down? even with MBC?? help Please
Hey guys i have a question, i just got this kit installed a month and a half ago and it ran fine when i got it then all of a sudden it started boosting 10psi which it was set at 7, all of a sudden it starts boosting this amount and even with a turbo smart Manual boost controller it still is that high and it is boosting even high, what should i do?I have the manual boost controller turn almost completely off and it still boost higher even,do someone know what could be happening. Its a 94 Accord f22b1 vtec motor with full TSI turbo kit.
First off you can not lower boost with a boost controller only raise it.
Second. Is it an internal or external wastegate?

Ive been told this also and by many others.
Weird thing is.. When I first got my car boosted. With a 38mm .4bar tial and a Generic MBC spring/ball type. I could fully adjust the boost from 1psi-20ps+
Not sure why, but it did.
