Default oil return line....turbo sits a little bit too low

ok I mocked up my turbo setup and since I am using an hf manifold and a really funky homemade adapter plate for my t3.......the turbo sits really low and for the return line I am thinking about using a 90 degree bend and runing a line straight to the oil pan. sorry I don't have any pics please let me know if this will work or not guys.
Thanx

45* bends are always more favorable than 90's.

I know but If I use a 45 then the line will have to dip down and then come back up to my flange in the oil pan.....

The HF/adaptor is known for making drain lines a beeitch. What I've done in the past is slightly rotate the center section so the drain tilts towards the front of the car. I guess the rule is no more than 30 degrees. Then a 45 (or 90 in bad situations) off the drain flange and going straight into the lowest part of the pan you can without being in the pool. I guess there's debate about that as well, but that's how I've done it.

With a couple connections you can also find mm of space here and there. If you had to you could shave down the drain flange to no be so thick. You could chop some of the threads off the fitting screwing into the drain flange (The pipe threads never screw in all the way to the base).

Above all, be crafty and smart.
