Need advice ... opinions on built block for 12 PSI.
I'm gonna build up a nice turbo block soon. Just want to get some ideas and opinions.
B18C Block
9.5:1 Endyn pistons
Eagle rods
Blockguard
With "only" 12 PSI ... do I really have to resleeve the block? I'm not gonna get boost happy and up the boost to 18 or soo ... and in fact ... I will only run like 3 to 5 PSI on the street and up it to 12 PSI when racing or in the mood. So majority of the time I will only boost 3-5 PSI (VERY low boost).
How does the block sound for this setup?

if you are going to have the block apart either way, you might as well get it sleeved...im sure there are people who will back up either side but I think it would be much safer and you would never have to worry just in case you decide to up the boost...many people boost higher than originally planned once they feel the power.
for no more than 12psi,your wasting your money having it sleeved
I don't want to spend a grand for nothing ... rather spend that money in better tuning.
Yes,spend the left over money on something that will actually give u more HP in the 4-12psi range cause with or without sleeves motor will produce same HP

unless you want to overbore your engine, there's no reason to resleeve for only 12psi of boost.
