i am running a high flow cat from supremeperformace.com call metal cat i have a dc header, aem intake and a hks hiper exhaust and it sounds awesome. it has no high pitch in my exhaust note at all

No emissions in Texas. Yes, having no cat is illegal. But, no one in South Texas checks, yet alone, knows what one is.

Same where I live. It may be illegal, but without inspection, you'll never get caught.

umm...dallas and several surrounding cites have emissions testing as a part of state inspection.
