HIgh Flow Cat?
I am just wondering if anyone makes a high-flow cat for the s2000? Its supercharged but somehow the stock cat had......somewhat of a meltdown. I know i could just put a straightpipe on but i dont want the noise and i need to be able to pass emissions.

If you are using a hi-flow cat, you might still be able to pass emisions. I had an Integra that passed with one. Although if somebody knows what they are looking for, they might not pass it on the visual.
Test Pipe you will definatly not pass, since you won't have a cat on the car...
No reason why it would be bad in an FI setup.

If I remember correctly they don't hook up the sniffer to newer cars. (in Texas) They only look at the safety features and drive it for a minute. (to check brakes and whatnot) They hook up to your ECU and check for codes. You should be fine as long as your car doesn't sound like *** or doesn't throw any codes. For example.. I went with a friend to get his truck inspected, it took all of about 10 minutes. No sniffer and they just checked the gas cap, turn signals, brakes, headlights... well you get the idea. Hope that helps..

Some people have said that the stock S2000 cat flows as well or better than aftermarket high-flow cats. I personally don't have any experience with this, so...
As long as you don't have a CEL, you should pass just fine.
