has anyone ever heard of a $25,000 federal fine from the EPA for bypassing/removing/disabling your cat? we dont have smog checks down here so pretty much everyone with an exhaust runs a test pipe too, but my friend ditched his test pipe because he heard about that. has anyone else heard something similar to this?

 

never heard of a 25k dollar fine for it. i know in PA you can get a sitation, but i think its only like a 150 dollar fine.
