i bought this turbo for basically dirt cheap and it..but dont hear much about it...i know alot of people run the 57 trim and the 54 trim is probably similar to it...and i also know the 54 use to come with old drag kits...so whats the max hp i can get out of it?...would it be able to make atleast 350whp easily?...and how would it feel compared to the 57?...any other info would be nice on this turbo cause i dont hear much about it...thanks

trim is for spool time, im sure any t3 t4 can produce 350-400hp at the crank but if its over 25psi it might kill it over time

We put one on a non-Turbo Talon with a Star Kit, laid down 325 ponies at 8psi on a Mustang Dyno. .40 over Wisecos, Eagle Rods, stock head and valvetrain.

Not much difference. Most people get the 57 trim because it's the best flowing out of the 50, 54, and 60 trims. Suprisingly the 60 trim isn't better then the 57 . That'll work great though and on a b18b like me I see my 57trim fully boosted at 4300 rpm

Oh yeah, that turbo is easily good up to 500hp. If we could ahave gotten the Blitz EBC to work correctly, we would have had higher numbers. The .57 trim seems to be a good all around turbo.

What was it doing? I have never had a problem with Blitz SBC i-D's but I am not sure which one you were using.

Ah ... The Spec-S. I still have yet to actually use one of those. I have only used the Blitz SBC i-D Should be straight forward though. If it has a "Learn Mode" or something similar don't use it.

Yeah, we are going to pick up the car from the owner later this evening and mess with it. Might call Signal on Tuesday and see if they can speak a lil English to us and help us with finding an instruction manual.

That STRICTLY depends upon the application used. This is a very Loaded and rather incorrect statement.

57 Trim

60 trim

I feel that the 57 trim has a better efficiency range that is more parrallel to the actual engine then the 60 trim. Of course the 60 trim will be suited better to other engines. the 50 trim is also good, but it wasn't enough for my predicted power expectations. Again this was all for only my engine the B18b
