Default No boost

I was wondering if the turbo is supposed to spin at idle or not. the only time it spins is when it is given gas. My car lost all boost i am trying for find out if my turbo is bad.

Most likely turbo is bad. Unless you have a huge leak somewhere or the wastegate is stuck open.........i would recommend a new turbo or rebuild?

mine spins little or not at all at idle. it's not uncommon. if your not building any boost, u most likely have a leak somewhere. check your charge pipes.

It won't necessarily spin at idle.

Make sure you don't have a blown off charge pipe somewhere.

Yes, if its stuck open(which i highly doubt), all the exhaust gases will be bypassing the turbo....hence no boost(or very little boost).

checked all the charge pipes still on tight pulled, checked the wastegate it is not stuck open. i have a warrenty, i had the turbo on about a week it ran great first few days, then it felt like it was slowly losing power, then lost all boost. went over all hose ,clamps ,fittings just dont know what else to do.
