Default V-afc how hard is it to tune w/ it?

I am going to be boosting and was thinking about getting one. I was wondering how hard is it to tune with one?

With out a wide-band, its pretty dam hard. Also if you really mess with the fuel curve on the vafc, it will also alter your timing.

if you are boosting you would be better off with an avc-r or better a hondata with boost option

Blue Wire tune? Care to explain that?

I have a VAFC as my management, its really easy to tune with provided you have a wideband and datalogging (or a dyno). At first i didnt understand it but when i saw my tuner tune my car with it it all made sense and is very easy.

After going from the VAFC hack to Uberdata, I have to say that car feels a ton better with an uberdata basemap than it did on the hack.

You can tune a VAFC very easily, just get a wideband and edit the fuel curves until your WOT ratios are around 12:1, and your partial throttle and idle ratios around 14:1

Well I can't seem to do it very well.

I have hondata but been trying to save on fuel so I have been playing with it a bit. Only below 3500 rpm though-basicaly daily driving stuff. I really only left it on to use the display but hey since it's there I'm using it!

I got it tuned to use less gas in vacum but as it aproaches boost it goes very lean until it actualy is under boost.

I really need to get it tuned properly once I finish with the new toys. have them set it alot leaner under vacum.

im thinking that the blue wire tune is to run the 02 sensor output to the afc and the unit reads the voltage and tell u approx what your a/f ratio is....
