VAFC ReVisited
Ok, So I know the "VAFC hack" is sooo 2002. Is it even worth it to consider this tuning option for a boosted civic, which will never see over 10 psi? All of the posts that talk about this tune are OLDer than my grandmother. Just curious I guess. (I am in a location in which no up-to-date tuning options are nearby; aka, crome, hondata.. etc)

VAFC - ok-ish for 3-4psi IMO. (still worse than any other option but liveable)
10psi, better to drive for 3-4 hours and have it done right... or learn to do it yourself and be the local tuner.
MANY write ups everywhere. age doesn't mean alot, the process is still the same.

NoDak. I might be able to find a tuner in Bismarck. I also have been looking at tuning myself, using Crome. Ive researched alot, but have plenty more to figure out before I attempt anything.
Ok, so here is the conclusion to the research I have done. I am NOT going to do the VAFC. Instead I am leaning heavily towards a chipped ECU (P28 and OBD2-OBD1 conversion) from Phearable or J K Tuning. At least I can get a base tune for my turbo setup, so I can get it to a tuner.
