where do i install Autometer water temp sending unit?

Default where do i install Autometer water temp sending unit?

where do most people install the sending unit for an aftermarket water temp gage? is anywhere ok? should it be on the head? near the thermostat? i have no idea. maybe on the water line that runs behind the block???

do i use the stock sending unit even?

i tapped mine into the little elbow that comes off the thermostat b4 the lower radiator hose.

I am pretty sure you want it before the thermostat becuase everything after will just be the same. I guess.

run a search the is guy that posted pictures and gives good clarity on the bleeder valve, too bad that didnt work for my because its a gsr what a pain in the ***. i still have the sender sitting in a sock in the engine compartment.
