Default Can i run a t4?????

hey whats up all. i have a sleeved 84mm b16 block with fully built ported and polished head and full upgrades to the head, ferrea springs, skunk turbo cams, etc. i have not completely finished my setup but i wanted to know if i could run a t4 with this setup. i am going to be running EMS and 2.5 inch ic piping along with full 3 inch exhaust and full race mani. is this possible to run a t4? i currently have a t3/t4b, so i want bigger and more power. i plan to get it tuned at 20psi... thanks!!!

you should have enough displacement to spool it up...idk how quickly you will hit full boost tho...

well, that is what i was thinking. i am hoping that i can bump up the redline to 9 grand, but would it be worth it to just keep my .63 trim t3/t4??? i am confused... i know the t4 has more overall potential with hp's... but if i can hit full boost at lets say, 4 grand with the t3/t4, i dont know if it would be worth it to just keep it....

if you only plan to tune to 20psi, its not worth it IMO. It all depends on how much power you wanna make? Alot of the t3/t4 turbos can go BIGGGGG hp these days

hes right, theres really no need to go t4 now a days. These t3/t4 turbos are making 600+ whp. If i were you i'd go with a SC61 or a t3/t67. This way you'll be making the power you want but also have the better spool b/c of the t3 hotside compared to the t4.

Of course you can run a t4 but really that's not that specific. Are you talking a t04s a t04r? What size compressor a t-76 or a t-61? The better question is to post up when you want spool by and what max power you want to make then you can get some recomendations about what turbo to run. Like someone mentioned before people are making 600whp+ with t3/t4s.

i was lookign at a a t04r... specifically this one http://store.yahoo.com/cheapturbo/garrettto4r.html, but i made up my mind that i am going with a t3/t4e... i would enjoy full boost around 3500 if that is possible... so i think a t4 is outta the ? for now... isnt making too much sense to me now after researching it a little more...o and i am hoping 380whp at least...
