Default Oil in turbo

I keep finding a little bit of oil between my mani and the turbo and the turbo and the downpipe. It isn't smoking at all but is it hurting anything? My oil drain isn't straight, but it is downhill. Any ideas? Is this a big problem?

explain how you're finding oil between the turbo and the downpipe? You mean as in outside the actual piping? Because if it's inside it sure as hell wouldn't last long. It'd get burned off and get pumped down the rest of the exhaust.

Like there is a little bit of residue that you can touch, where the turbo and mani and turbo and downpipe bolt together, those places look wet.

Weird. Those areas are usually hotter than hell. Did you maybe spill some oil on there? Are you losing oil? Check your oil level every time you fill up. You might have bad seals. But oil between the turbo and manifold is weird. Tighten up your bolts and check your gaksets. You shouldn't have oil leaking through those two gaskets. My guess is that your motor is blowing out oil, your turbo's seals are shot and those bolts that hold the turbo to the manifold and the bolts holding your downpipe on are loose.

Turbo is definitely good, no shaftplay, and this motor has never burned oil. If it isn't smoking is there still a possibility it could be my return line?
