not my car so i can't give all the specs.

basically, its a 2.0 dohc vtec turbo and speed pro @ about 25 psi. tuned by me. anyone in the bay area need their car tuned? this motor still has more in it... it should see about 600 whp when we're done.

its running a sc63 and the compression is somewhere lower than 9 to 1. The ignition timing is conservative relative to the engine's compression. it's still in the testing phase, and we want to make sure the motor and preliminary tune are solid before the envelope is pushed. i have other charts where the power continues beyond 9k but on the posted chart the throttle was released early somewhere around 8800 rpm.

Some notes were that this turbo really does have a sweet spot. Increasing the boost from say 14 psi to 18 psi showed gains, but the largest gains where seen when turning the boost from 20 to 25 psi.

omfg no, not possible. If youre running less than 10.5:1 compression on the HT bandwagon your turbo will never spool, and you can make nooo power!!!

Nice power, albeit lackluster spool and I would have thought the power would be higher with that much boost. How much timing is in it?

 

well, part of the problem is that its using a manual turbo xs boost control... and its only running that 25 psi for maybe the final 1000 rpm. I'm interested in seeing some other sc63 dynos. Anyone have any?
