compression?
I have been reading all this posts, but nobody mentions lowering the compression on the engines. I would like to what would be a good compression for a turbo in a d16y7?
thanks, MrBLuR

Re: compression? (mrblur)
I assume you are talking about a built motor.
It depends on what your power goals are, what kind of racing you do, what kind of turbo you are using, etc...
Generally though, I like my motors no lower than 10.0:1

Re: compression? (ekb18c)
I'm just curious what you guys are doing to make these 10:1 motors survive with high boost? If your not running high boost, why not? If your building a motor it makes a lot more sense to put some reasonable pistons in it and run 18 psi than to put 10:1 and run 8-10.. 18psi and low comp will be much faster.
