compression and boost
why do ppl lower the compression when they boot? ive heard that the higher the compression..you make more hp at lower boost.

the thing with high compression motors is tuning is critical and there's also a point where race gas will be needed. Low compression motors are more forgiving to poor tuning and poon gas.

turbointeg is totally correct in what he states. If you can tune and have a good standalone i would build a 10.5:1 compression turbo motor. But for the avg guy i would stay around 9:1 and be really safe.

So a any high compression Turbo will need a dyno?
So you can't run built high compression (10:1) turbo car with just stock injectors, stock computer, MSD, and FMU at 7-10lbs? I'm kinda new at this so please bare with me.
