Yeah I'm pretty excited about the new car. It's so damn fun to drive, instant torque whenever you want it. I've been trying to convince this guy to sell it to me for a few years now. He recently bought a 2015 corvette he supercharged and makes over 700rwhp so I was able to talk him out of the evo lol. His vette is definitely crazy, probably the fastest car I've ever been in and would walk all over the hellcat I rode in for sure.

And yes I agree with you the plugs do look like crap. At least they are improving. Probably gonna take the integra to the track soon and just run it on street tires. That should help seat the rings more haha.

Nice pickup! Also, 700whp supercharged vette about equivalent to 500-550whp honda

Unfortunately I don't plan to ever take my car to the level of competing with a corvette, or so I say!

Agreed. I think it was the sound and torque that made it feel so crazy.

Well, I'm never going to say never, but that would involve getting another car since mine is a daily and I'm kinda old to be racing corvettes, at least on the street.

You should bring it to Woodburn on the 29th for the Streetcar takeover. Pretty sure it's sponsored by Speedfactory so it should have a good turn out. I'd like to see your Integra in person! Glad it's getting better too.

That sounds like a great time, but would be next to impossible to make work with my family's schedule. It would be too soon anyways, it really needs slicks, more boost, and more tuning before the real fun begins haha. If you ever make down this way to my track definitely hit me up!

Thanks man!

As for the oil issue, it seems to be improving slowly the more I drive it. I did some more tuning and have it at 16psi now, let me tell you this turbo really wakes up at this pressure. Rolling into 3rd gear it will rip the tires off, hopefully it will hook better as the weather gets warmer. I'm really happy with this hunter turbo, paired with the higher compression ratio.

Had some nice weather today so I took a short little video. I banged the limiter pretty good in second... oops lol. In 3rd gear the tires were barely holding traction. Of course it always feels way more intense in the car then the video portrays lol, but you get the idea. This boat of a four door sure is heavy though, I keep thinking this setup would be legit in a hatch. Now that I have the evo as a daily I've been considering making this more race car, but nevertheless I'm still happy with it and it's fun to drive.

BBG setup 1st 7psi, 2nd 10psi, 3rd & 4th 16psi. Tires are 205/50/15 nitto neo gens. Tune is still on the conservative side, definitely has more in it. Need to get this thing to the track!

That's nice! I've pretty much decided one of those turbos is going to be on my car one day.

That's why the traction issues. I remember those tyres 10 years ago.. They barely hold their merit for that type of "spirited" acceleration. Time for something a little more robust.

The r888s definitely had better traction, but I couldn't get rid of the wheel hop and that was a deal breaker for me unfortunately. My ic piping doesn't allow for traction bars without so serious reworking. The neo gens are decent especially considering there price. I ran consistent low 12s in my hatch with them. If I can run in the 12s with this setup and neo gens I'll be happy, but hopefully I'll be getting slicks soon anyways.

OH I mean for the street sorry yea I have read at the track not so great. and yeah u should consider a traction bar and modifying the piping for better traction in the long run maybe?

I didn't know this. I'm running neogens and it hard to stay off the limiter even in top of 3rd so I was thinking about the R888s. I'd rather only have one set of racing tires haha. They cost as much as slicks too.

If your intention is to drag race then do not get the r888s. From the research I've done the best street strip tire for maximum traction is the m&h bias ply 235/60/15, the down side to them is obviously the size and it's basically a wrinkle wall slick that's street legal so going around corners is not gonna happen lol. I've had the mt et streets in 225/50/15 and they were ok, definitely better then the neo gens, but really when it comes down to it nothing is going to beat a good set of slicks at the track. 1.6 60fts are a hell of a lot of fun too!

If anyone else has good street/strip tires in mind let me know. I'd really like to stick with 225/50/15 size, but like I said I'll probably be getting some 24.5" slicks soon.

I didn't even list the R888s, because they are getting a little long in the tooth. The Dunlop Direzza Spec IIs are a bit nicer than the R888s. But if you're drag racing, or treating the car as such on a street level, then, I have no advice to help. I know better than to treat a FWD system as though it were a RWD drivetrain on the street from a stop light. This was a grocery getter, not a drag racer, so I knew that either way, you were going to have issues.

this is what the car had for a while either these again on for street ill try r88s or something else (no digs) on the street, for digs that's at track with slicks

There really isn't an appropriate tire for FWD high hp traction. R888's wheel hop if your trying to dig race sure. But they were never meant for that in the first place. MH bias plys look ridiculous and cant do rain or corners. ET streets dont last more then a month because you are trying to brake steer and accelerate on them. I would say maybe Hankook RS3 or RS4s if you can find them in the right size.

went on a spirited drive the other day and it was awesome with R888's up front and Neogens in the back lol. Probably not wise to put so much of a bias in the front though.

The Hankook RS3s are a great option to consider for street driving. Not "dig" driving. You're going to wheel hop. Cest' la vie.
Try not to play into the typical RWD's game. you know where the powerband is, you know the strengths and weaknesses of such a setup; So, try not to fall into driving the same way as you would your other cars. That's the best way to "win", so-to-speak.
