today i installed my Mcculloch 5000k hid kit .
everything works fine except, sometime when i turn the headlight one side dosent light up. i have to turn the switch off and then on to make it work. The kit came with hid hardness. other than that it works perfect. you think i may have to relocate my ground. only the left side is doing this.

check your grounds and all your other wiring. Also try swapping your ballasts with each other and see if the problem occurs with the other light. If you still have the same problems, it sounds like your ballast is going out

Check your wires, cause I had the same problem and it was my wires......One of the wires isn't connecting?

another thing that might be worth checking is your battery. When i have my stereo going for a bit before i turn my headlights on, sometimes i get the same thing. Also, do you have fog lights that are turning on at the same time. thats another time that i get a similar problem. i realize i need a new battery, im just trying to put it off as long as possible

 

i swaped my ballast but still the same
then i fix my ground wire and now is working perfect
