Default HID problem bulb or ballast?

I bought and HID kit off a vendor here and everything worked fine for about two months but now all of the sudde the drivers side headlight does not work. When I first turn the lights on it flickers a few times but doesnt come on. It does that evertime. I checked my wiring and it looks fine. Any ideas what to check? This is one of the times I kick myself in the *** for not just ponying up and buying a more expensive kit.
Thanks in advance tho

best way to test is to connect the ballast dirrectly to the battery, as well as swap the ballasts and bulbs and to see if it's the bulb or the ballast that's going.

I'd contact the seller of your kit and see what kind of warrenty (if any) there is and what can be done to fix your problem.

I had a pnp kit where the bulbs would start going out after 5-10mins, at points they'd flicker and not stay lit. It ended up being bad bulbs, killer is tho I've been waiting now 3 months for replacements.......

Thanks for the info. Ill check tomorrow. When I bought them they said 1 year manufacterer warranty. Which probably means it will take forever.

It all depends on the vendor, the ones I got are thru a different forum board (and they were costly) and the kits are shipped from china yet the "seller" is in tx..... yea I get responses from them and it's obvious that I'm talking to three-six different people each time.

well my hid has had that problem before, it was the grounding on the ballast but its better to just get it replaced so nothing on the inside gets fried
