Default problem with hid

so my hid kit on my integra somethings it flickers off for half a second and turns back on. would you think it's the ballast or is it the bulb itself i might have to change, does anything have the same problem?

Is it on one side? both sides? Did your kit come with a relay harness?

If it is just one side, then it may be a bulb or ballast.

If you have a relay harness, check all your connections and especially your ground and 12v source connections.

most likely the ballast or you have a lose connection. The bulb will not flicker, once its ignited it'll stay on. if it flickering something it preventing it from staying ignited usually the ballast.

What kind of ballast do you have? Usually cheap kits do that because the ballast is no good
