yes, they do work "good enough"... good enough to blind oncoming drivers, put an extremely bright spot right in front of your car - which causes your pupils to close down, worsening your distance vision. "Good enough" to last less than a couple of years. "Good enough" to get you pulled over by police.... but hey, you "drive a civic" so that means you should do crappy modifications.

you should get a ticket for "attempted HID"

there are plenty of cheap *** dual stage hi/lo kits with little to no glare. Like the ones which are on my car (although they are a bit more exp).

don't get the HID extra ones.
They flicker.
I'v had good luck with tsny kits though.

you mad? sorry hid police..
ps never had a problem with cops or blinding other people.

I've ordered off of eBay xenon kits never had a problem I never went under 55 bux anything over that price is defenitly good material and make sure you check on seller I ordered some 40 dollar kit three weeks ago OMG stupid **** flickers so I got mad and what I did is took off the ballast off them and put some xenon ones I had laying dude HUGE HUGE difference way way brighter and whiter I was amazed but then I dropped one xenon ballast and stop working so I have those cheap *** eBay kit I would never order one again ill stay to xenon o and DO NOT BUY SLIM BALLAST KITS unless there expensive like sylvania or xenon.........xenon xenon xenon xenon best brand I've ever had for lighting
