Default k20a2 with spun rod bearing

There is a k20 in my area that im considering buying that has a spun bearing. Here are my questions?

1. How much should I spend?
2. What are my chances the crank isn't scored beyond repair?
3. How much of a headache may I get myself into?

The guy is asking 1000 but I was thinking more like 700. He sent me a video of it running but over 2 rpm's it knocks

700 is ok. 1000 to much. oversize bearing, new oil pump and new full gasket kit.
