Hmm, maybe I haven't properly introduced myself yet.

Name's James. Been in the car game 10 years now, started on an 87 Subaru Justy turbo. After owning it long enough to replace the turbo twice, intercool it, and overhaul the motor twice, my mother destroyed it while I was at college. After that, went to a 91 Accord 2 door. Basic bolt ons, but there never was enough support to do anything serious without some serious fabrication.

Now I'm in an EJ6 that looks stock, except the mishimoto on the front. 10 PSI from a TD04H, Function Form Type 1s, BWR camber arms on all 4, Black Racing Pro N1, Hankook Ventus V2s, HID heads, and a gutted interior while I reupholster everything with black vinyl and crush velvet. JL 10W7 HO in the trunk, JL ZR650s up front, MB Quart Performance in the rear.

Just finished a transmission overhaul including carbon synchos, Fidanza lightweight flywheel, and Comp Clutch 6 puck sprung hub.

I work for a cab company, driving and doing the maintenance and repair for a 7 car fleet of Crown Vics, Grand Marquis, Towncars, and a Town and Country.

My name is Dan Hayes and I own a '98 Honda Civic DX Hatch (EJ6). I've owned the car for seven years now, but I've only managed a few upgrades. Currently I am replacing interior trim that is taking up to much space in the family garage. This is my first time attempting to upload pictures, hopefully you'll get a glimpse of what I'm up against.

No go on the pictures, I'll try again

Apparently I have to post my initial 5 messages before I can upload attachments. I'll post pictures when I exceed that threshold.

Hello all,

My name is Lonnie, I live in California. Sometime in the next few months (hopefully) I will be purchasing an EJ that I would like to swap. I have been lurking on forum for about 6 months now because after a fair amount of searching for a solid forum Honda-Tech has the least RICE and knowledgeable members.

My current room-mate got a '97 coupe about 2 years ago that turned me on to Hondas. I would like to learn to do all of own mechanical work on my future Civic, because I have been ripped off pretty badly by some of the local shops in the past.

Hello Honda-Tech,

Not a completely fresh member but still haven't introduces myself..

I'm Carlos, I'm 18 and I live in Southern California and I got my civic in late October. I've been into Honda's before I bought my car because of friends but now I have a 1998 Honda Civic Ex Coupe (Ej8) painted Milano Red Its my DD. I started out with Steelies but got myself a set of Clean SI rims It has a short Ram Intake. replaced a seatbelt lock and some interior lighting.I've had it for only 2 and a half months but I have big plans for it! Yup plan getting some progress cs-II coil overs, greddy evo2 exhaust, and debating betweens a b18c1 or B20 CRVTEC or a B16a2 to make an SI clone. But yea here is my EJ8:

Whats up people. My name is kevin im 27,i live in edmond oklahoma.
I drive a milano red 1999 EM1.
Long story short, i traded my 91 civc si hatch to a oid for it. This kid drove the **** out of the em1 and finally spun the crank pulley off the crank... So it set for about 6 months before i picked it up.
It was mostly stock when i got it. Since i have it ive had the b16 rebuilt and added a few goodies.

Mod list :
Rebuilt b16
Mugen valve cover
Aem intake
4-1 stainless header
Oem cat
Skunk2 mega power cat back
Excedy lightweight flywheel
New oem clutch and pressure plate
New ngk plat. plugs
New ngk wires
Short shifter

New axels
H&R springs
Kyb struts
Ingalls front and rear camber kit
Oem front upper strut bar
Aftermarket rear upper and lower bars

16" custom painted "antique brass metalic" rota grids

Bfg tires

Custom red and black leather front and rear seats
Black suade headliner
Oem ctr black w/red stitch shift boot
Type r shift ****

What i traded for it

How i got the car

4-5 months later this is how it sits...
Freshly rebuilt and painted b16

Future plains are to replace the b16 block with a gsr block for a poorman r
Convert to obd1
Tri y header
Different oem seats
